|Captain George Pyke commander, Dr Philip Williams surgeon superintendent. Sailed from Gravesend 16 June 1842 with passengers for Wellington and Nelson. Arrived Wellington 7 November 1842, and at Nelson 12 December 1842.
Cabin passengers taken from Examiner, and from Ward, Early Wellington, pp.113-4. It has not been possible to distinguish between Nelson and Wellington settlers. But the Examiner, December 1842, p.162, says that 6 chief cabin and 5 intermediate cabin passengers together with 13 adults and 17 children in the steerage, came to Nelson in her.
The Examiner also lists Mr Ridgeway, Mr Mocatta and Mr Perry as cabin passengers. Ridgeway is a passenger from Wellington only. Not sure about Mocatta and Perry.
The Examiner gives Mr Godfrey, Mr Bolten and Miss Secker as intermediate cabin passengers, but the NZ Company lists them in the steerage. 1 death 3 births on board.|
