Celebrating Twenty Years in the Heart of Whakatū

Join us for MĪharo! 20 Years of Wonder, a community celebration marking two decades since the Nelson Provincial Museum opened its Trafalgar Street doors. 

This free, family-friendly event will fill the Museum with music, creativity and celebration, honouring the stories, taonga, exhibitions and people who have shaped our past and future.

  • Games and a scavenger hunt with loads of spot prizes

  • Photo booth fun

  • Dress-Up Theme: Come as your favourite historical character, with prizes for best dressed
