One photo entry per Facebook account

Entrants under 18 must check with a caregiver before entering

Entry must be your own photo

The Museum makes no claim of ownership over entries and will not use images entered in this competition for any other purpose except the winning photo will feature in our next e-newsletter.

Entries may be submitted as a comment on our Pet Photography Competition Facebook post

The Museum will remove images not deemed appropriate for our Facebook page - this is at the Museum’s discretion and correspondence will not be entered into.

Museum staff and their immediate family members may submit photos but these will not be eligible for the prize.

Entries close Friday, April 26th

Winners will be selected and contacted that afternoon

Prize is 1 x State Cinema Voucher for two free admission tickets. Voucher valid Sunday to Thursday only and excludes Public Holidays, Festivals and Special Events. The voucher is redeemable at State Cinema Nelson only and is not redeemable for cash value or exchangeable for other products and services. Phone & Internet bookings not accepted. Voucher expires 16 Jan 2025.

The Prize winner may choose to collect their prize from the Museum during opening hours or have their prize posted (at the Museum’s cost) to an address in the Nelson Tasman region.

Enter as many captions as you like (within reason).

Open to all ages

Captions must be original creations and may be written in te Reo Māori or English.

Entries may be submitted via our website or as hardcopies via the front desk. Hardcopy entries will be uploaded by the Museum team as soon as practicable.

All comments will be moderated. The Museum reserves the right not to publish entries deemed inappropriate for our website - this is at the Museum’s discretion and correspondence will not be entered into.

Museum staff and their family members may submit captions but these will not be eligible for prizes.

Comment ‘likes’ on the website will be considered as one factor in selecting winners however winning captions will be selected at the discretion of the Museum.

Email addresses will only be used to contact winners and will not be used for marketing purposes or shared with 3rd parties.

All entries may be used by the Museum for promotional purposes without remuneration to the entrant.

Entries close 11:59 pm, May 14th, 2024.

Winners will be selected and contacted by email between May 15th and May 17th, 2024.

Prize winners may choose their preferred EUGY cardboard model kit valued at $19.90 provided the Museum has that item in stock. Prizes are not redeemable for cash value or exchangeable for other products and services,
