Ngā Tauira - Patterns / Tau 0 – 8

Are you visiting a local marae?

Would you like us to attend and support with some wānanga (workshops) for your ākonga?

In collaboration with mana whenua, ākonga learn about the structure of the wharenui, the patterns inside it and some of the kawa (protocols) associated with a visit to a marae.

Ākonga design and create their own kōwhaiwhai or tukutuku patterns after identifying key features of the mahi toi and listening to local pūrākau (stories) and histories.
